The Town of Mammoth Lakes’ Draft Comprehensive Workforce Housing Strategy is now available for comment. The Strategy provides the Town with a policy toolkit to provide affordable housing for the local workforce, at varying income levels. Data from the Housing Element Update Questionnaire, which was provided in both English and Spanish, in hard copy and online, was used to assess the community’s housing needs.

The draft Housing Strategy was recommended for approval by the Mammoth Lakes Housing, Inc. Board at the December 2014 meeting (12/1/14 Minutes). The following public meetings are scheduled:
- 2/11/15 – Planning and Economic Development Commission workshop (2:00 PM in Suite Z)
- 2/18/15 – Town Council workshop (6:00 PM in Suite Z)
- 3/18/15 – Joint MLH Board of Directors and Town Council (4:30 PM in Suite Z)
